Please describe your comment briefly:
I was very disappointed to learn that Idaho Power is asking to suspend the A/C Cool Credit
program and other demand response programs. I believe these programs play a very important
role in keeping costs done and reducing impacts to the environment. I am afraid suspending
this program and others may lead to their elimination. I am also worried that this
suspension will lower the participation rate in program like this. It also sends a bad
message in terms of energy efficiency, if Idaho Power can get the power elsewhere they will
not prioritze cheap and easy programs like this one. This is an easy way for homeowners to
reduce power use and the program should not be suspended.
