I think that regardless of the fact that Idaho Power believes there will be no peak hour deficits until 2016, we need the program to save energy. It seems to me when it was to the benefit of the utility they were begging for customers to join. But now they don't need us or the benefit of saving energy. I think they should keep the program. I object to the suspension of that program. I became involved because #1 I would receive a $7 per month credit and #2 I thought the program would result in overall energy efficiency. Now Idaho Power says they want to suspend the program and the monthly credit and they say that they do not expect any 'peak- hour deficits until 2006.' If there was any savings gained by this program I believe it should continue. How can Idaho Power say that there won't be any deficits through 2016? Idaho Power installed a electrical box on my house but now it won't be needed because they want to discontinue. I object to the suspension of this program.
