That credit would be wiped out if the Service charge is increased from the current $5. If the new rules go through, and the service charge is increased to $20, I will end up paying an additional $180 per year. If I cant apply the credits to the fees, then even when I have generated a surplus, I will still have to pay at least $20 / month, which defeats a lot of the purpose of having solar panels. I want a zero dollar power bill for at least some months. The increased service charge is one of the most aggravating points of the Idaho power proposal. Please don't let them do this!
