Please describe your comment briefly:
I just received my power bill for the period from 3-5 to 4/3 and to my delight have a very
small credit due to my recently installed solar panels. That credit would be wiped out if
the Service charge is increased from the current $5. If the new rules go through, and the
service charge is increased to $20, I will end up paying an additional $180 per year. If I
cant apply the credits to the fees, then even when I have generated a surplus, I will still
have to pay at least $20 / month, which defeats a lot of the purpose of having solar panels.
I want a zero dollar power bill for at least some months. The increased service charge is
one of the most aggravating points of the Idaho power proposal. Please don't let them do
this!
