I have received a letter from Idaho Power about their net, metering proposal, and I have read
a newspaper article about the issue, but the specifics of it are still not clear.
My home has a 1 1/2 KW solar system, so small that I doubt I will be affected by this
proposed change, but could my electricity rate go up?? I am very concerned about how this
proposal might affect large renewable energy systems. Idaho needs to get MORE renewable
energy systems, but this proposed change might discourage people from making that commitment.
At least until Idaho Power is more forthcoming with details,I am strongly opposed to their
proposal.
