Please describe your comment briefly:
I realize that Idaho Power is only one company in IDACORP, but it must be the largest. If
IDACORP 'ended 2011 with a 16.7% increase in profit' Idaho Power must have been a major

J. Lamont Keen, Idacorp CEO, received a 21 percent increase in total compensation in 2011.

$23.9 million. It also got an advantageous tax ruling from the U.S. government and a rate
increase to help meet its pension requirements. All those contributed to Keen meeting his
incentive goals for compensation. Two thirds of. Keen's compensation was at-risk, meaning he
had to meet goals or the at-risk amounts would not be paid. The goals deal with customer
service, system reliability and prudent fiscal management.
