Regarding the proposed rate increase for Langley Gulch power plant
Viewed in light of the extremely favorable pricing of natural gas, this plant would quickly
pay
for itself, even without a rate increase. At around $2 per MMBTU in the futures market, why
not lock in gas, at the same time ensuring profit, run the plant, and not pursue an
unnecessary increase to Idaho Power customers?
