Dear Ms. Jewell:
Idaho Power Company fied its securities issuance application with the
Commission in the above referenced case on July 1, 2011. However, the Company
inadvertently failed to provide for newspaper notice of the application within seven days
after the application filing date, as called for in Rule 141.08 of the Commission's Rules
of Procedure. Accordingly, pursuant to discussions with Terr Carlock, Accounting
Section Superisor of the Commission, Idaho Power is filing this letter with the
Commission to "restar" the publication timeline for Idaho Power's securities application
under Rule 141.08, effective July 29, 2011. Idaho Power wil arrange for newspaper
notice of the application within seven days after July 29, 2011, as provided in Rule
141.08, and also agrees that the Commission's 30-day disposition period for the securities
application wil commence on July 29, 2011. These changes wil provide for the public
notice called for in the Commission's Rules and establish compliance with Rule 141.08.
