Please assure that all future plans for elctricity production in Idah are based on renewable
energy sources. The opportunities abound: expand solar sources, maximize the exisi tng wind
powered generation )too often they are off the grid, maximize all hydro power sources an dadd
low overhead generators in canals where there is a drop in elevation. Please avoid fossil
fuel electrciity production that increase carbon emissions--coal fired planst are a detriment
to the survival of the planet. Be thoughtful about efficient energy transmissions that
facilitate moving resources when the demand and supply shi ftsbut please do whatever you can
to minimize negative environmental impact- -we only have this one chance on the earth. Thanks!

Idaho needs to stop pandering to the nuclear and US weapons industries by building more
nuclear power facilities because these are liable to accidents-- either from earthquake and
other natural hazards but also to terrorists. Idaho must plan more solar and geothermal power
facilities, more home & corporate biz conservation efforts, less coal-fired plants, and
continue so far with natural gas facilities as long as the gas does not come from fracking in
this state, at least.
