I have been a teacher in Idaho for 31 years. I have not had a COLA in a numer of years and
have actually had a cost of living decrease in the last few years. There are many other
people like me living on decreased wages while we watch everything around us go up. For
profit companies like Idaho Power need to live in these times like the rest of us and I just
don't see that happening here in Idaho. They need to adjust their budgets just like we do
and Ii ve within their means. Taking any more money out of our pockets at this time or any
time in the near future should not be allowed. You at the PUC are the only ones who can help
the rest of us out here with your decision on this rate increase. If you are listening and
really hearing us J please tell Idaho Power that they are going to have to utilize what they
are getting now with no increase and make it work like the rest of us out here. Thank you
for allowing public comment on this proposed increase.
