I urge the IPUC to deny a rate increase for Idsho Power. In view of today' s econmical
status, it is very unwise to add extra burdens to the public.
It appears to me that Idaho Power is not struggling financially. They spend many dollars on
advertising which (for an utility company) is not necessary because they have no competitors.
Also, I believe it is morally indecent for Idaho Power to charge their customers $4.00 for
billing. We have no choice in this matter other than to suggest Idaho Power stop billing and
call or e-mail customers the amt of their bill.
Again, I urge you to deny the rate increase and/or eliminate the $4 charge.
