OUTSTANDING water year and here we have Idaho Power asking for more would wipe out the rate decrease they just recently applied for and However, this is an money. This increase received. One of their reasons is the increased growth in demand. However, in this economy , with many vacant office and commercial buildings, vacant residences and vacant warehouses, it seems unlikely that there truly is an increase in demand. In fact, it could be argued that all these vacancies provide a decrease in demand. I am an Idaho Power stockholder as well as a customer. Some things should not happen on the backs of the customer and this rate increase is one of them. Please deny this increase. Thank you.
