Thank you for letting us comment on the rainbow ranch wind projectsi I will keep this short
and simple. I run and own a small company here in Malta Idaho and have seen the negative
effects that the economy has had on our state. Wind is one of the greatest natural resources
in the world that we must utilize. Here in the Malta-Raft River area there is never a
shortage. I know this project would benefit our state and especially the local area. It will
help create many needed jobs and opportunities here in southern Idaho. Please don1t let this
powerful natural resource blow by! Thanks for your consideration i
Cameron Tuckett

My name is Ben Kearsley I am an Idaho native and have lived in the Teton Valley area all of
my life. Knowing that this area is the beginning of the Snake river water shed and being
close to both Jackson Lake and Palisades I have seen throughout my life the dependency that
our Idaho communities have on the Snake River for the supply of power. In todays world it is
about protecting and preserving i how do we protect our electrical grids and do we have a back
up plan in place?
I am in support of the Rainbow Ranch wind project to help create back up supply and use one
of Idaho's other natural resources wind.
Please consider the development of the Rainbow Ranch wind project to be one that will enhance
and help sustain our communities and our state.
Sincerely
Ben Kearsley

Howdy! Thank-you to everyone who is taking time to consider the Rainbow West Wind and Rainbow
Ranch Wind Projects. My name is Wayne Palmquist. I have been care taking the Rainbow Ranch
since 2007. My family and I were looking to relocate to a more family friendly i
conservative i God fearing location; and Ben Bartlett invited us to come visit his ranch in
Decloi Idaho. We thought we would visit for 2 or 3 days. However, it stretched into 2
weeks. . . then 3 months... and now we've purchased 40 acres of our own here! : - )
My wife and I enjoy raising our family in the beautiful high desert of Idaho. We love all
the wildlife, open space i clean water, natural resources, freedoms, and opportunities for
adventure! We desire to help preserve this way of life for our own children, and future
generations. We believe that pursuing alternative energy options is one way of achieving
this goal, (especially in light of the current nuclear reactor crisis taking place in Japan!)
Wind power is a largely untapped resource, which is PLENTEOUS on the Rainbow Ranch. It is
renewable, and safer for the environment, in which we all enjoy living.
We have known Ben Bartlett for about 12 years. He is an honest man, who loves his God , wife,
family, friends, and employees. He is a visionary man, with an eye for the futurei which he
uses to bless all those around him. His current business ventures with the Rainbow West Wind
and Rainbow Ranch Wind Projects are going to be a blessing to us, our children, and future
Idahoians!
It is written...' Blessed is the nation whose GOD is the LORD; and the people whom he hath
chosen for his own inheritance.' - Psalm 33: 12
Thank-you for preserving our way of life for future generations,
Wayne Palmquist
