SUBJECT: IDAHO POWER’S 2017 INTEGRATED RESOURCE PLAN
CASE NO. IPC-E-17-11

On June 30, 2017, Idaho Power Company (“Idaho Power”) applied to the Commission
for an Order accepting its 2017 Integrated Resource Plan (IRP). The IRP describes the
Company’s plans to service its customers’ electrical needs over the next 20 years. The Company
must file an IRP every two years. See Order No. 22299.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Commission issue a Notice of Application and set a 21-day
intervention deadline. Once the intervention deadline has passed, Staff will informally confer with
the parties about further scheduling and report their findings back to the Commission.
