Please find original and copies of Petition to Intervene in Case No. IPC-07 -
Pursuant to the Idaho Public Utilities Commission s Rules of procedure 53 and 71 through
73 and the Notice of Intervention Deadline issued by the Commission on June 28, 2007.
Renaissance Engineering & Design, PLLC hereby petitions to intervene, and to appear
and participate as a party, in the above-captioned matter.
Renaissance Engineering & Design, PLLC has provided consulting services for many
clients in regards to wind farm evaluation, site assessment, data collection and analysis
and ultimately economic evaluations. Several projects have been developed with the
intent to pursue PURPA contracts. Many projects under preliminary development were not
far enough in the process to obtain grandfathering status before the rules were changed
for PURPA projects and the projects were put on hold. The outcome of these proceedings
directly affects a significant amount of the business for Renaissance Engineering & Design
PLLC as well as the clients this company represents for engineering and economic
evaluations. Therefore, Renaissance Engineering & Design PLLC has direct and
substantial interest in these proceedings and requests the right to intervene and to appear
and participate as a party.
