On August 13 2010, Idaho Power Company (Idaho Power) filed an Application with
the Commission requesting approval of a 15-year Firm Energy Sales Agreement (the
Agreement") between Idaho Power and Yellowstone Power, Inc. (Yellowstone Power
Yellowstone). On September 3, 2010, the Commission issued a Notice of Application and
Notice of Modified Procedure establishing an October 1 , 2010, comment deadline. Staff was the
only person or party to file comments.
On October 1 , 2010, in response to Staffs comments, Yellowstone Power filed a
Motion to Permit Reply Comments in order to allow Yellowstone to present argument and
evidence demonstrating that its Firm Energy Sales Agreement should be approved. The
Commission granted Yellowstone s Motion and established a reply comment deadline of
October 18, 2010. Order No. 32083. On October 7, 2010, Yellowstone filed a Motion
requesting oral argument following the filing of reply comments.
Good cause appearing, the Commission finds that the public necessity requires that
this hearing for oral argument be held as requested by Yellowstone Power, with less than
days ' notice. IDAPA 31.01.01.241.01.
NOTICE OF HEARING FOR ORAL ARGUMENT
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that the Commission will convene a hearing for
oral argument in this case on TUESDAY. OCTOBER 26. 2010. AT 2:00 P.M. IN THE
COMMISSION HEARING ROOM. 472 WEST WASHINGTON STREET. BOISE.
IDAHO.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that all hearings will be conducted pursuant to the
Commission s Rules of Procedure. IDAPA 31.01.01.000 et seq.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that all hearings and oral arguments in this matter
will be held in facilities meeting the accessibility requirements of the Americans with
