Citizens Protecting Resources (CPR) is a nonprofit, grassroots
organization of Magic Valley citizens. Protecting and conserving
resources and quality of life issues are CPR's primary focus.
CPR strongly supports energy conservation programs by Idaho
Power Company (IPC) and others. We believe the only way to ensure
an aggressive and effective conservation program by IPC is to make
it slightly more profitable for them to save eiectricity than it is
for them to produce and sell more power. CPR does not have the
expertise to determine whether .39 percent or some other percentage
is approppiate but we do support the concept in IPC-E-10-07.
