In the application submitted by Idaho Power, they describe i significant achievements
accomplished by Idaho Power in partnership with its customers. It ilustrates the value of
paricipation in energy efficiency programs, as well as successes in the service area that
demonstrate how being energy effcient empowers everyone to control costs and conserve
precious resources.'
So, to reward the residiential customers for energy conservation, and to empower us to
· control costs', Idaho Power proposes to raise our rates?? This is entirely inappropriate,
and sends the wrong message to consumers, especially the residential and smaller consumers
who cannot afford yet ANOTHER rate increase!
