Re: Micron Technology, Inc., Contract Demand Level Increase
Dear Mr. Gatzemeier:
I am in receipt of your letter dated December 15, 2023, wherein Micron
Technology, Inc. (“Micron”) has requested a increase to its monthly Contract Demand
from 77 megawatts (“MW”) to 81 MW effective as of April 1, 2024. Idaho Power
Company (“Idaho Power”) is pleased to accommodate your request pursuant to the
Agreement for Electric Service between Idaho Power Company and Micron Technology,
Inc., dated December 29, 2009 (“Agreement”).
The Agreement provides that Micron may request an increase to its Contract
Demand in even 1,000 kilowatt increments. Agreement § 6.2. The Agreement further
provides that such new Contract Demand shall be in effect for a minimum of at least six
(6) months. Id.
Per your request, Micron’s new Contract Demand under the Agreement shall be
81 MW effective April 1, 2024 and shall continue to at least October 1, 2024. Idaho
Power shall continue to provide a Contract Demand of 81 MW to Micron after October
1, 2024, unless and until Micron provides notice that it desires to decrease and/or
increase its Contract Demand in accordance with the Agreement. See Sections 6.2(a)
and 6.2(b).
To confirm this mutual understanding, please have an authorized individual from
Micron countersign both originals of this letter, keep one original for your records, and
