To Whom it May Concern,
I just wanted to leave a brief comment on power rates. I feel we are paying an incredibly low
amount for our use of electricity here in Idaho. In order to encourage power conservation
there needs to be an increase in rates.
I do appreciate all that Idaho Power is doing to encourage lower use of power, though I feel
that it will not work until it hits people financially.
Also I feel the PCA should be used as it was originally designed for... based on hdro output
as a credit or surcharge. Not as profit.

I heard on 67ØKBOI this morning that this is the last day for comments re: increasing rates
on electricity. This is the first I've heard of it. PLEASE, this is NOT a good time to
increase our rates. We had a good water year so that i s not an excuse this time. We all have
to tighten our budgets and so can Idaho Powerj they just need to look for waste within their
company.
