Dairy, with my wife and 3 sons.

You are the Public Utilities Coinissiol:i. Board. Iam protesting any of
these Increuses, in Power rates.

My wife and I are living on a fixed inc:ome. It will make it more difficult
to make end meet to hcive a Idaho Power increase. Our Power Bill was on
a Level Pay plan. of $128,00 of our Home. ,i:~very month.
This rc..te increase will make it difficult for SENIOR CI'llZENS TO pay
their Power Bill. This increase is very untimily.
Cost of power is 15 to 20~ for cost of produ~ion on Oøps. Cost increase
to Irrigation is DEVASATING. My Son ra~ses lots of aay and the price ts
down 50~ from last year. All the other cQiinmodi ties 50'% Lower this year.
EXAl-íPLE . Last year, 2008... Wheat was $7.40. This year it $4.00.
DAIRYMEN : are the Big¿;est Industry in the state Of Idaho. Price of
Milk in 2008 was $20.40. Price today is :~.50. Cost of production is
$14.00 per 100 CWT. This is a terrific L,I;)St. Losing about $5.00 per
100 CWT. All other industies will be effi'~cted by this rci.te increase.

For Idaho power. This ts a good water year for power,
Generation Cost should be down.
