as a union pipe fitter, I have seen work in our fine state contracted to out of state non
union companys. I hope that this will be an Idaho job compleated by an IDAHO work

I have a major concern with your choice of contractors for this project. I am a construction
worker and an Idahoan, my concern is this contractor bringing out of state workers for this
project. The Last two built in Idaho, were built with out of state people. This is not right,
we have the manpower and the knowledge to build these plants with Local people and
contractors. We live here, we pay for the power this plant will generate and the state of
Idaho needs the jobs. This is a bad time in our economy with everyone losing their jobs, I
really don i t believe the people of Idaho will be pleased if you bring in out of state people
to do the jobs that we can do. We need these jobs, the state needs the jobs and we need to
keep the money here in Idaho. We do not need to send our money to Texas or Louisiana. I am
not the only one that feels this way and I i m sure you will be hearing from more people about
this issue.
