WASDEN October 6, 2008 Jonathan Gibbs 9502 Scorpio Boise, ID 83709 Re: Complaint Against Idaho Power Company; Case No. IPC-E-08-18 Dear Mr. Gibbs: This is to confrm our conversation today regarding your complaint against Idaho Power Company. We discussed the different options for you to proceed now that the Company has fied an answer. I outlined those options to be a formal evidentiar hearing, a hearing for oral argument which would allow you to make a statement to the Commission, or to simply submit the case to the Commission on the pleadings as fied. You stated that you desire to submit the case to the Commission on the pleadings, and requested a ruling based on your complaint and the Company's response. Based on your decision to submit your case to the Commission on the pleadings, I will so inform.. the Commission and ask for a decision on your case based on your complaint and the Company's response. Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns. Sincerely,~~ Weldon B. Stutzman Deputy Attorney General cc: Jean D.
