SUBJECT: IDAHO POWER’S STIPULATED MOTION FOR EXTENSION TO FILE
REPLY IN ASSET EXCHANGE; CASE NO. IPC-E-16-06
On February 19, 2016, Idaho Power Company filed a request to approve its
regulatory accounting from the Company’s asset exchange with PacifiCorp in Case No. IPC-E-
14-41, as required under the Commission’s Order No. 33313. The Industrial Customers of Idaho
Power (ICIP), who had intervened in Case No. IPC-E-14-41, petitioned for and were granted
intervention in this matter. Order No. 33510. The Commission issued a Notice of Application
and Notice of Modified Procedure setting a comment deadline of June 9, 2016, and a reply
deadline of June 16, 2016. Order No. 33500.
Staff filed timely comments outlining its position opposing Idaho Power’s request. In
light of Staff’s position and the complexities of this case, Idaho Power contacted Staff and ICIP
about an extension of its deadline to reply. Staff and ICIP do not oppose an extension, thus
Idaho Power has filed an agreed Motion to Extend the reply deadline to July 1, 2016, attached
hereto.

ldaho Power Company ("ldaho Power" or "Company") respectfully moves the
ldaho Public Utilities Commission ("Commission") for an order under Rule of Procedure
256 that extends the reply comment deadline in this case by approximately two weeks,
to July 1,2016.
The Commission initially set a June 16, 2016, reply comment deadline. Order
No. 33500. Due to the complexity of the issues and the position that Commission Staff
("Staff') has taken in its Comments, the Company seeks additional time in order to more
fully analyze and respond to Staffs comments. ldaho Power has discussed this request

with Staff and the lndustrial Customers of ldaho Power, both of which agree to the
extension. Thus, the Commission should grant ldaho Power's request to extend the
reply comment deadline and issue an order extending the reply comment deadline to
July 1 ,2016.
