This will serve as my show of support for Mr. Bill Chisolm i s proposal for funding teacher and
student programs on energy sustainability. We need to change our consumptive habits, and
educating our future citizens must play a big part. Idaho Power must also change its way of
providing for customers by embracing net metering opportunities, renewable wind, solar and
geothermal technologies, and advancing LEEDS as an Idaho standard. Only in this way can we
prepare for a future with knowledgeable power customers and their expectations from Idaho
Power.
I also support ratepayer oversight of the Idaho Power proposal, perhaps by augmenting the
current efficiency advisory committee.
