I am concerned after talking to several other Idahoans that the power company is doing some
sort of price gouging. This last month and the month before despite telling Id power that we
only use electricity to heat our water and lights we ran a $600.00 bill for our electricty.
Even though in the past 2 years those same months were previously billed at 1/4 to 1/5 of
the AMOUNT THEY ARE ALLEGING NOW. The problem is we don' t use any more elelctrici ty in the
winter than any other time.
I had them come out and check the meter, of course they say it is fine. Of all of the people
I have talked to they are all saying the same thing that I am.
I am demanding that IPUC do a thorough audit of all billings that ID Power has. I am
convinced that it is going to turn up some very unfortunate information.

I have a 2500 sq ft home, all electric. I keep my thermostat at 69, and 64 during the day.
I burn a fire in the evenings. I just received my power bill and it was $560. 50% higher
than it has ever been.
You' re allowing Idaho Power to increase their rates over the last few years is absolutley
disgusting.
Low snow pack.... .what a joke!

I have a concern. My power bill almost doubled and I am not sure why. I was told by iaho
power,I have used a lot of kw, however, I did nothing different on this bill that I did on
the last bill. I am not sure why we are using so much power. I have talked to the surrounding
cities, and there power bill has really not changed.My power bill went from 365.00 to 554.00.
We heat our house with wood. I just do not know what to do. I have asked if someone could
come check my meter and they did not think that should be done. Wendell really got hit with
high power bills. I do not mean to complain, it was just such a shock when I opened my bill.
If you could shed some light on this, I would really appreciate it. Thanks
