Hello. I am very opposed to the three tier billing system for Idaho Power. We live in a
rural area and do not have access to natural gas. We are an all electric home. We changed
from propane gas heat in October of 2008 to a high efficiency all electric furnace at a huge
cost to change. Now J with the three tier billing system for Idaho Power J our bill went from
$398.45 on 12-2-08 to $803.57 on 12-2-09. This is killing us and January and February are
ahead of us. Rural areas should have a different tier structure.
