I would like to briefly comment on the recent or last idaho power rate increases on
irrigation in idaho. to give you some idea of the impact of the increases the ipuc approved
on a small acreage.
I watered a 1Ø acre field handline 7 sets 24hrs seven days. total bill for idaho power on
this field was 488.86 for one week. This is outrageous that you would approve such rates.
I feel the way idaho power was handled was a disgrace to the citizens of idaho and the
farmers especially in the economic disaster we are under.
