Idaho Power is Asking for a 6.3% increase in their rates for residential cutomers. That
would be the second increase to Idaho power in less than a year. It seems as though Idaho
power shows no sign of tightening their belt ie. the number of empolyees with cell phones.
The meter readers driving around in trucks not fuel efficent cars. The continued hardship we
face to pay additional monies to Idaho Power while they continue to spend money in some cases
wastefully is not right
The heart of their increase is for growth! Let the developers pay for their growth. If there
is not enough natural resource for power then growth should be looked at closely. As other
utilities and resources are at risk to those of us already living here.
You give me enough time and money and I'll have a substantial reason for a decrease in our
electric rates.
