After reading Idaho Power' s rate increase press release on this site, I i m still opposed to
this increase at this time. I am a self employed person. This has been the toughest year
for growing my businesses I i ve had in the last 7. Whether the politicians want to admit it
or not, this country (and Idaho) are in a recession. Increasing the cost of basic
necessities like electricity during a recession is just wrong. Period.
I am requesting as a citizen here in Idaho that this rate increase be turned down by the PUC.
Gi ve ratepayers a break during these tough economic times. Thanks. Rick Bean.
