NOTICE OF
PUBLIC WORKSHOPS
CASE NO. IPC-08-
On June 27, 2008, Idaho Power Company ("Idaho Power" or "Company ) filed an
Application for authority to increase the Company s general rates for electric service by an
average of 9.89%. If approved, the Company s revenues for electric base retail rates would
increase by $66.6 million annually. The net amount of the actual increase varies by class of
customer and usage.
On July 21 , 2008, the Commission issued a Notice of Application and Notice of
Intervention Deadline in Case No. IPC-08-10. Parties requesting and granted intervention
were: Industrial Customers of Idaho Power; Idaho Irrigation Pumpers Association, Inc.; the
Kroger Co.; Micron Technology, Inc.; Community Action Partnership of Idaho; Snake River
Alliance; and the United States Department of Energy.
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that the Commission Staff will hold a public
workshop for Idaho Power customers on WEDNESDAY. OCTOBER 8. 2008. IN
POCATELLO. IDAHO AT 7:00 P.M. IN THE NEWBERRY BUILDING. 160 NORTH
MAIN STREET. POCATELLO. IDAHO At this meeting customers will have an opportunity
to hear from Commission Staff regarding the Company s Application in Case No. IPC-08-
and ask questions of Staff and representatives of the Company.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the Commission Staff will hold a public
workshop for Idaho Power customers on THURSDAY. OCTOBER 9. 2008. IN TWIN
FALLS. IDAHO AT 7:00 P.M. IN THE TWIN FALLS CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS.
305 3RD AVENUE EAST. TWIN FALLS. IDAHO At this meeting customers will have an
opportunity to hear from Commission Staff regarding the Company s Application in Case No.
IPC-08-10 and ask questions of Staff and representatives of the Company.

YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the Commission Staff will hold a public
workshop for Idaho Power customers on WEDNESDAY. OCTOBER 15. 2008. IN BOISE.
IDAHO AT 7:00 P.M. IN THE COMMISSION HEARING ROOM. 472 WEST
WASHINGTON STREET. BOISE. IDAHO At this meeting customers will have an
opportunity to hear from Commission Staff regarding the Company s Application in Case No.
IPC-08-10 and ask questions of Staff and representatives of the Company.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the Application in Case No. IPC-08-
may be viewed on the Commission s website www.puc.idaho.gov by clicking on "File Room
and "Electric Cases " or it can be viewed during regular business hours at the Idaho Public
Utilities Commission, 472 W. Washington Street, Boise, Idaho and at the Idaho offices ofIdaho
Power.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that all workshops and hearings in this matter
will be held in facilities meeting the accessibility requirements of the Americans with
Disabilities Act (ADA). Persons needing the help of a sign language interpreter or other
assistance in order to participate in or to understand testimony and argument at a public hearing
may ask the Commission to provide a sign language interpreter or other assistance at the hearing.
The request for assistance must be received at least five (5) working days before the hearing by
