NOTICE OF HEARING
On June 27, 2008, Idaho Power Company (Company) filed an Application for
authority to increase the Company s general rates for electric service by an average of9.89%. If
approved, the Company revenues for electric base retail rates would increase by $66.6 million
annually. The net amount of actual increase varies by class of customer and usage.
On July 21 , 2008 and August 19, 2008, the Commission issued a Notice
Application and an Intervention Order in Case No. IPC-08-10. Parties requesting and granted
intervention were: Industrial Customers of Idaho Power; Idaho Irrigation Pumpers Association
Inc.; the Kroger Co.; Micron Technology, Inc.; Community Action Partnership of Idaho; Snake
River Alliance and the United States Department of Energy.
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that pursuant to agreement of the parties and the
Commission, the Commission has adopted the following procedural scheduling in this case:

The prepared testimony and exhibits must conform to the requirements of Rules 231 , 266 and
267 of the Commission s Rules of Procedure. IDAP A 31.01.01.231 and .266-.267. The above
deadlines are for testimony and exhibit filing with the Commission. E-copy service on parties of

record should be made on the same date to the extent practicable with full service of testimony
and exhibits provided to parties of record no later than the following business day.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the Commission will conduct a technical
hearing in Case No. IPC-08-10 commencing at 9:30 A.M. TUESDAY. DECEMBER 16.
2008 AT THE COMMISSION HEARING ROOM. 472 WEST WASHINGTON. BOISE.
IDAHO and continuing if necessary on December 17-19,2008 at the same location.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that an additional scheduling notice for public
workshop(s) and public hearing(s) will be issued later.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that all proceedings in this case will be held
pursuant to the Commission s jurisdiction under Title 61 of the Idaho Code and that the
Commission may enter any final Order consistent with its authority under Title 61.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that all proceedings in this matter will be
conducted pursuant to the Commission s Rules of Procedure, IDAPA 31.01.01.000 et seq.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that all hearings and prehearing conferences in
this matter will be held in facilities meeting the accessibility requirements of the Americans with
Disabilities Act (ADA). Persons needing the help of a sign language interpreter or other
assistance in order to participate in or to understand testimony and argument at a public hearing
may ask the Commission to provide a sign language interpreter or other assistance at the hearing.
The request for assistance must be received at least five (5) working days before the hearing by
