I will not be able to attend the workshop due to having to work. I would suggest this
money be used to provide rebates for solar pv systems that are grid tied. Idaho Power's
biggest power need (when power is the most costly) is in the summer months when solar
naturally peaks during the long summer days. This is also at a time when hydro production
is not naturally peaking. An added benifit to this peak power generation source it that
the panels shade the roof reducing the ac load. This generation source will not require
new transmission lines and has no transmission losses to speak of. Thank you for takingthis into consideration.
