With ever increasing costs and for a short view of other items, please see Idaho Statesman
article dated today. I do not see the rationale at this time for approving an increase in
power rates and would ask that you truly review their request. It certainly cannot be
that this year is a drought year and due to a lack of water. I am retired and maybe a
10.6% increase in rates might not affect other people, but it certainly does me. I only
received a 2.3% increase in my social security and Part B of Medicare took 2% of that.
Have any of you received a a 10.6% rate increase this year? Thank you for taking the time
to hear my concern.
