I sincerely hope this will find its way to those who make decisions for this
energy division.
In looking over your proposed rate increase, it seems to me that some
segments of the population of the state are discriminated against. 1. Farmers
are getting in increase of 20%; 2. Small commercial and industrial are both
getting increased by 15%; yet Large commercial (the ones it seems can most
easily afford i~ are getting only 13.
If the first three are forced to close down with this excessive increase, many
communities will go down with the~ as the entire community relies on the
one or two industries.
Will that give you what you want?
I am a widow and am not connected with any of the above industries so have
no ax to grind. This is strictly my observation and opinion.
I feel it is time to reconsider your options.
