Dear IPUC:
Please find enclosed flyer from Idaho Power regarding proposed fee increase.
Please note that the small commercial customers have (by far) the highest current
average base rate and they are targeted for one of the highest percentage rate increases.
I have an office in a building on the edge of a residential district. It is 1 700
square feet and gets power from the same grid as all the residences in my neighborhood.
However, my rate is8.5~ while my neighbors pay 5.92~. My rate is nearly 25 %
higher then theirs. After the proposed increase the differential will be over 37 % higher.
WHY??
The rate increases are not appropriate and I am hereby registering an objection.
