NOTICE OF
PUBLIC HEARINGS
On June 8, 2007, Idaho Power Company filed an Application for authority to
increase the Company s rates for electric service by 10.35%. If approved, the Company s annual
revenues would increase by $63.9 million. On June 25 2007, the Commission issued a Notice of
Application and Intervention Deadline. Order No. 30346.
On October 1-, 2007, the Commission Staff conducted public workshops for Idaho
Power customers in Pocatello, Twin Falls and Boise, Idaho. At these workshops customers had
an opportunity to hear from Commission Staff regarding the Company s Application to increase
rates and to ask questions of Staff and representatives ofthe Company.
On October 19, 2007, the Commission issued Order No. 30456 granting the
Company and Commission Staffs Joint Motion to Extend the Procedural Schedule in this case
and establishing a procedural schedule. In the Order the Commission scheduled the technical
hearing in this matter to convene on January 22-25. 2008 in the Commission Hearin2 Room.
472 West Washin2ton Street. Boise. Idaho. The purpose of the technical hearing is to allow
the Company, intervenors and the Staff to introduce testimony and exhibits regarding the
Company s Application to increase its rates for electric service.
The Commission will also convene three public hearings to provide opportunities for
members ofthe public to testify regarding Idaho Power s Application.

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that the Commission will hold public hearings for
the purpose of receiving public comment. The first public hearing for Idaho Power customers
will commence on WEDNESDAY. JANUARY 23. 2008. AT 7:00 P.M. IN THE IDAHO
PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION HEARING ROOM. 472 WEST WASHINGTON
STREET. BOISE. IDAHO.The purpose of the public hearing is to offer customers and

members of the public an opportunity to offer sworn testimony regarding Idaho Power
Application to increase its rates for electric service.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the Commission will hold a second public
hearing on TUESDAY. JANUARY 29. 2008. AT 7:00 P.M. IN THE CHUBBUCK CITY
COUNCIL CHAMBERS. 5160 YELLOWSTONE A VENUE. CHUBBUCK. IDAHO.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the Commission will hold a third public
hearing on THURSDAY. JANUARY 31. 2008. AT 7:00 P.M. IN THE TWIN FALLS CITY
COUNCIL CHAMBERS. 305 THIRD AVENUE EAST. TWIN FALLS. IDAHO.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that all hearings in this matter will be held in
facilities meeting the accessibility requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Persons needing the help of a sign language interpreter or other assistance in order to participate
in or to understand testimony and argument at a public hearing may ask the Commission to
provide a sign language interpreter or other assistance at the hearing. The request for assistance
must be received at least five (5) working days before the hearing by contacting the Commission

YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the Application in Case No. IPC-07-
may be viewed on the Commission s website www.puc.idaho.gov by clicking on "File Room
and "Electric Cases " or it can be viewed during regular business hours at the Idaho Public
Utilities Commission, 472 West Washington Street, Boise, Idaho.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that all proceedings in this case will be held
pursuant to the Commission s jurisdiction under Title 61 of the Idaho Code and specifically
Idaho Code ~~ 61-302 61-307, 61-502, 61-503, 61-507, 61-622, and 61-623. The Commission
may enter any final Order consistent with its authority under Title 61.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that all hearings will be conducted pursuant to the
Commission s Rilles of Procedure, IDAPA 31.01.01.
