Wind power is good in that the fuel source is local not imported from another state or worse yet another country. The proposed discount rates seem fair as stated in the press release. I I m not sure if this is included but wind developers should pay a fair price to connect to the grid and for new transmission lines where needed. On the other hand the utility should pay for any computer upgrades to run the whole distributed grid. I see in the future that the utility will be taking in generation from many sources (hydro, wind, solar, geothermal, and co-generation) and then managing the diverse generation with the demand load while managing the demand load at the same time. This will be the job of the utility, to match the generation with the use in real time. Thank you!
