Box 83720 Boise, Idaho 83720-0074 Re: Case No. IPC-E-07-03 Report on Status of Idaho Power's Wind Projects and PURPA Contracts Dear Ms. Jewell: At today's pre-hearing conference in the above-referenced case, Idaho Power agreed to provide a report showing the current status of its wind resource projects and contracts for new wind resources. The requested information is enclosed: To summarize the enclosed data, by the end of December, 2007, Idaho Power èxpects to be taking deliveries of energy generated by wind resources with a total capacity of 120 megawatts. Another 80 megawatts of wind generation is actively being constructed. In addition to the above-described 200 megawatts, this Commission has approved PURPA contracts for another 200 megawatts of wind generation. Since the transmission issues relating to these wind projects have been resolved (Case No. IPC-E-06-21), Idaho Power has not been notified of additional impediments to orderly development of the additional 200 megawatts of PURPA wind generation.
