PETITION TO INTERVENE
Micron Technology, Inc. ("Micron ) petitions this Commission for leave to intervene in
the above entitled proceeding pursuant to Rules 72 and 73 of the Commission s Rules of Practice
and Procedure, IDAPA 31.01.01.072 and -073. In support of this Petition, Micron states as
follows:
Micron s plant near Boise is Idaho Power Company s largest customer.
Micron has a direct and substantial interest in these proceedings because this
Commission s decision may, directly or indirectly, affect Micron s electricity rates or service.
Micron is unable to state its position at this stage of the proceedings, and therefore
seeks to intervene for the purpose of receiving documents, examining witnesses, and otherwise
participating as its interest may appear.

This Petition is admittedly late filed after the Commission s January 31 , 2006
intervention deadline. However, Micron is willing to comply with the existing procedural
schedule, and its intervention will not unduly broaden the issues or otherwise delay these
proceedings to the prejudice of any party.
WHEREFORE, Micron respectfully requests that the Commission grant this Petition to
Intervene and authorize Micron to participate in the above entitled proceedings with full rights as
a formal party.
