I think that the use of wind will not only benefit power rates it is also better for the
environment by limiting the amount of fossil fuel needed to generate power. I believe
that the state of Idaho needs to promote the need for a renewable source of energy and
wind is the way to go.

This Power Purchase Agreement between Idaho Power Co. and Magic Wind LLC is a benefit to
Idahoans. This and similar agreements keep rates lower and help out our communi ties and
the State. In addi tionl wind power reduces our reliance on other fuels.
It is good to hear Idaho is thinking long term about energy and its citizens.
