We strongly urge you to grant this request for Magic Wind LLC. We have lived in southern
Idaho for over 60 years and have commented many times that wind power is an excellent
source of electricity in this area. As this is a renewal resource which can be passed from
one site to the next with no loss of energy it only makes sense to do all we can in Idaho
to allow this renewal small power proj ect to continue under the original terms of the
agreement concerning price paid per unit.
We also hope that the decision to essential stop the development of these proj ects due to
the reimbursement factor will be revisited in the future.

I urge you to approve the Magic Wind proposal to install eight 2. 5-megawatt wind turbines
eight miles northwest of Buhl. Our country needs to be doing everything possible to
achieve greater energy independence and we need to be finding sources other than oil and
coal. We should also be doing everything possible to use the wind resources in our ownstate. These proj ects should be expedited rather than held up with procedural delays.Nick Hallett
