Subj ect: Comment regarding Case No. IPC-E-06-
Idaho Public Utilities Commission
RE: Comment on Case No. IPC-06-
Dear PUC Commissioners,
The people of Idaho should be the decisive voice regarding the future of our energy
production, and we want the option to purchase clean renewable wind energy. WE WANT GREEN
ENERGY , and if we are willing to pay for it, there should be no problem. I was in stunned
to read the recent Times News Article regarding this matter (October 2nd). There should
not even be a question who will pay for the transmission upgrades alluded to. Idaho Power
will undoubtedly profit from such upgrades, and to rule in Idaho Power s favor and put the
financial burden on the wind developers would all but end new development of wind power inIdaho. Please ensure the desire of the people is carried out in your policy, please
support the development of wind energy in Idaho. Regarding Case No. IPC-E-06-, the
financial burden should lie with Idaho Power , not with the wind farmers. Your ruling will
drastically affect the future of Idaho s power production. Please, listen to the people,
don t stymie Idaho s wind power potential with an erroneous decision.
Thank You,
Monica Brown

Dear Webmaster
In my communication with Mr. Fadness, he states that I should specify a case number so we can know to
which of the many wind projects now before us you are responding to.
Trying to go through all the stuff on the computer and determine if it relates to wind power makes my already
deteriorating eyes blank out. I'd appreciate it if you would enter my comments on each case that is before you or
that comes up regarding alternative energy sources such as wind, solar, geothermal , et cetera. The one that
caught my eye in the paper today was IPC-06-21.
I know the physically handicapped get cut some slack so I'd appreciate it if you would do the same for those of us
who are going blind and actually experience pain and physical disability due to this condition.
OFFICIAL COMMENT
I and my 8 family members are in full support of any proposal for wind , solar, geothermal or other alternative
energy sources that are considered 'green . Green does not include coal or nuclear or any other environmentally
polluting source. Thank you.
