Comment description: ur company distributes the GE Jenbacher line of gas engine gen sets
that use biogas for power generation and heat recovery. There are over 4000 engines
operating today in a variety of gases ranging from natural gas to low BTU biogas.
We want to assure the IPC that generating electricity from biogas in reciprocating engines
is proven technology and can be accomplished in a very cost effective manner. Our companyattended the Al ternati ve Fuels Festival in Boise last year and we believe there is a large
market opportunity for such technology.
