SUBJECT: APPLICATION OF SCHWEITZER BASIN WATER LLC FOR A
CERTIFICATE OF PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY, CASE
NO. SCH-W-15-01

On February 13, 2015, the Commission received an Application from Schweitzer
Basin Water LLC (“Schweitzer” or “Company”) for a Certificate of Public Convenience and
Necessity (CPCN).
On May 28, 2015, the Commission issued a Notice of Application and Modified
Procedure. The Notice established the following schedule for filing comments regarding
Schweitzer’s Application for a CPCN: August 20, 2015 deadline for filing comments regarding
the Company’s Application, and August 27, 2015 deadline for the Company to file reply
comments.
SCHWEITZER’S MOTION FOR EXTENSION
OF REPLY COMMENT DEADLINE
On August 25, 2015, the Commission received a letter from Schweitzer. The letter
made the following request:
Thank you for the PUC staff comments on our water system. We are
diligently reviewing them and would like to respond with our corrections and
comments. However, your due date for our response is this Thursday August
27, 2015. We would like to have enough time to research our answers and be
as complete and as correct as possible. Could you grant us an extension until
Wednesday Sept 2, 2015 at 5:00 pm? Please let us know if this is acceptable.
