On January 26, 2006, the Commission in Order No. 29958 approved a December
2005, Agreement for Supply of Standby Service (Agreement) between Idaho Power Company
and the Amalgamated Sugar Company (TASCa) for service to TASCO's Nampa, Paul and Twin
Falls, Idaho facilities.
On February 23 , 2007, Idaho Power caused to be filed a Letter Agreement between
the Company and T ASCO reflecting an increase in the supplemental contract demand amounts at
the Nampa, Paul and Twin Falls facilities. Agreement ~ 4.4.
On June 9, 2008, Idaho Power caused to be filed a Letter Agreement dated May 22
2008 , between Idaho Power and T ASCO amending the Agreement to include the supplementary
contract demand amounts formerly contained in the Uniform Service Agreements under which
Idaho Power provides demand and energy to TASCO's Nampa, Twin Falls, Paul facilities. The
change is required to conform with general rate case Order No. 30508 and the Commission
authorized termination of all Uniform Service Agreements between Idaho Power and its
customers effective March 1 2008.
The Commission by this Minute Entry acknowledges receipt of the Company
February 23 2007, and June 9, 2008, letter filings and the respective January 31 , 2007, and May
, 2008, Letter Agreements between Idaho Power and TASCa.
