IPC-05-28 On October 28, 2005, Idaho Power filed a general rate case Application seeking authority to increase its rates an average of 7.8%. If approved, the Company s revenues would increase $43 947 847 annually. In Order No. 24419 , the Commission suspended the proposed tariffs and set a deadline for intervention of December 6 , 2005. The Order also directed the parties to meet informally to develop a schedule to process this case. On January 5, 2006, an informal scheduling conference was held to devise a proposed schedule for holding hearings and completing discovery. PROPOSED SCHEDULE All the parties attended the scheduling conference. During the informal conference of the parties, the following proposed schedule was drafted: January 24-2006 Staff Public Workshops February 3, 2006 Deadline to submit discovery requests to Idaho Power February 9 and 16 2006 Dates reserved for Settlement Conferences among parties March 3 , 2006 Deadline for Idaho Power response discovery March 10 2006 Deadline for Staff and Intervenors to prefile testimony DECISION MEMORANDUM April 10, 2006 Deadline for Idaho Power to file rebuttal testimony; deadline for Staff and Intervenors to file rebuttal April 12-, 2006 Public hearings in the service territory April 24-, 2006 Technical Hearings May 24, 2006 Commission Order Issued June 1 , 2006 Rate Changes Effective The parties also agreed to serve discovery and prefiled testimony via e-mail with hard copies to be served by overnight delivery.
