Comment descriptIon: 1: think the 7.8% rate increase is way too large. In a period ofrecord state growth and record profits, this rate increase in unreasonable. The multi-
million dollar bonuses given out to Idaho Power s upper management should be taken backand used to finance the increased demand. More customers = more profit. Why not give them
the raise state workers received last year , 1%.

Comment description: How do you guys expect people on a fixed income to pay $78.00 more amonth for electricity? A person on SSI only get about $603.00 per month , along with thatthey get $32.00 in an AABO grant from health and welfare and about $50.00 in Food Stamps, along with a once a year energy assistance totaling about $130.00. That only goes to thecompany that provides heat. Last year you gave Intermountain Gas a rate ike that brought
the gas bill up $17.00 per month and now you want to give Idaho power a rate hike that
makes the electric bill $78.00 higher. Just exactly how are we suppose to pay that?
your heat is gas and mine is your electric bill runs around $40.00 a mth. add $78.00 tothat and it's around $100.00 and that the months when my gas bill with the thermostate set
at around 62 or lower runs around $70.00. Plus those aren t the only bills that have tobe paid. I have to have a place to live after all.....
