Comment description: I believe IDACORP President and Chief Executive Officer Jan
Packwood spoke very plainly in Idahcorp ' s thrid quarters earning statement as to why you
should not allow this rate increase to resolve. He said "We continue to see good
performance from Idaho Power at the operating level with record growth in customers
resulting in increased sales at higher prices." If they are receiving record customers
using electricity at higher prices then why are they asking for an increase? Isn t 56million in net income enought for them and thats only in 3 quarters. Besides that they are
only down 2 million in net income after 3 quarters this year and some of that was due to a
accounting reversal. Figuring on 3 quarters only, why do they need 4 million more inprofits?
