THIRD REPORT OF PROCEEDS
FROM S02 ALLOWANCE SALES
As provided in Order No. 29832 issued in Case No. IPC-05-, Idaho
Power Company ("Idaho Power" or "Company ) herewith files its third report of the
receipt of proceeds from the sale of S02 emission allowances.
Since the Second Report of Proceeds From S02 Allowance Sales was
filed on February 3 2006 ("Second Report"), the Company has received additional
proceeds from the sale of an additional 2 500 S02 emission allowances. The total
additional net proceeds received since the filing of the Second Report is $2 866 875.
The net proceeds amount is the total amounts received less broker s fees of $625.
THIRD REPORT OF PROCEEDS FROM S02 ALLOWANCE SALES, Page
Combining the sales totals reported in the Initial Report, the Second
Report, and this Third Report shows that as of the date of this Third Report, the
Company has sold 76 000 S02 allowances for which it has received total net pre-tax
proceeds of $79 793 500.
As of the date of this Third Report, the after-tax amount of proceeds
received and allocated to the state of Idaho is $45 727 182. This assumes an income
tax rate of 39.1 % and a jurisdictional allocation to the state of Idaho of 94.1 %.
The accounting for these proceeds is in accordance with Commission
Order No. 29852.
