Comment desc ipt on: commented earlier that I am not opposed to the wind farms. I made
that co ent because I felt that existing BLM and National Monument lands in the Bell
Rapids area would keep the windmills far enough to the west of the rim that they would not
be visible from the City of Hagerman. After reviewing the map on your site I am now
concerned about the Thousand Springs Wind Farm because it appears to be very close to the
rim. If BLM lands are not involved then it appears to me that there is a discrepanceybetween the BLM map and the map on your websi te. I would like to see a map that depicts
the areas from which the Thousand Springs site and Oregon Trail site windmills can be
seen. I am still not necessarily opposed to the proj ects, however, I would like tounderstand the expected impacts and determine what if any mitigation opportuini ties may beconsidered.
